The Boko Haram sect has released a new video showing territory it has captured.

In the clip, sect leader Abubakar Shekau is seen preaching to his fighters who are heavily armed.

Shekau is dressed in traditional Muslim attire and his sermon is broadcast round the town via speakers.

The terrorist leader also seems more brazen about showing his face as he is captured close-up many times.

An armoured car is seen driving around the town and Shekau declares his support for terrorist group, ISIS.
